Neubie
Neubie is a neuromuscular re-education device that uses direct current (DC) electrical stimulation while you do guided exercises, to help retrain how your nervous system controls your muscles. Our therapists in El Paso, Texas, use it for pain, injury, surgery recovery and movement problems, as part of an exercise-based plan.
Training the nervous system, not only the tissue
The Neubie (Neuro-Bio-Electric Stimulator) is an FDA-cleared electrical stimulation device. Unlike traditional electrical stimulation, it uses direct current, and it is designed to re-educate the neuromuscular system, improve mobility and strength, reduce pain and inflammation, and support recovery after injury or surgery.
After an injury, the nervous system can keep protective responses such as muscle guarding, compensation patterns and restricted movement long after the tissue has healed. Neubie is used to target that part of the problem.
